How do I add documents so Ask can answer from them?
Section titled “How do I add documents so Ask can answer from them?”Open Models, open the model the documents belong to and go to its Documents area (or open Documents in the menu). Choose “Add documents”, drop the files (PDF, Word, Markdown, text, PNG, JPG or TIFF), choose the language of the text, and choose where each file belongs: the whole model, every record of one type, or one record. Confirm that everyone who can see that place may read the files, then choose “Add documents”. The files are read on the Cortex server and become searchable by themselves. Ask and the Hub object page then answer from them with a “From documents” badge and the document cited. Row-level security does not apply to documents.
How do I request access to a source?
Section titled “How do I request access to a source?”Open Sources, pick a source, find the dataset (or action) you need, and choose “Request access” (or “Request action”), optionally with a reason. Nothing reaches your app until IT approves it, and access is per environment. Datasets you have access to show Granted. If a source is not listed, choose “Ask VDS to build this” and describe it.
