Find, open and request access

How do I find and open an app, dashboard or workflow?

Section titled “How do I find and open an app, dashboard or workflow?”

To find or open an app, a dashboard or a workflow in Cortex Hub: use Home (your apps and what is waiting for you), or Experiences, where a type filter narrows the list to Dashboards, Apps or Workflows. Use the Search box (“Search the Hub”) to find an app, dashboard, workflow or task by name. Choose Open on an app to use it. Everything you see is something you may open.

How do I request access to a dashboard or app I cannot open?

Section titled “How do I request access to a dashboard or app I cannot open?”

If you open a dashboard or app that is not shared with you, the page says “You do not have access”. Choose Request access, optionally say why you need it, and send it. The owner or IT decides in Cortex Control. The page shows “Waiting for the owner or IT to decide” and you can Withdraw request. When it is approved the page shows Open. The Discover shelf on Home lists other dashboards and apps in your organisation: you see the name and owner, never the content, and you can Request access there too.

To change the language of Cortex Hub: open the account menu (your name, top right), choose Language, and pick English or Nederlands. The choice is saved.

Home shows a greeting, your pinned values, a “Jump back in” list of what you opened recently, what changed in the last 30 days, tasks waiting for you, and a Data freshness pill that says whether the sources behind your dashboards are up to date. Notifications (the bell) hold your digests, alerts and tasks.
